Co-Founder, Alex Walker, Awarded MBE in King’s Birthday Honours

Alex Walker, Co-founder of Milton Advisers, has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List for his political service across local government, national politics, and international advisory work.

Alex’s career spans strategic communications and political leadership in the UK and overseas. He has advised governments, mayors and political leaders in the UK, Europe, and beyond, from acting as International Press Secretary to the Romanian Prime Minister, to advising Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, and more recently leading communications for the West Midlands Combined Authority, securing national attention for a £1.5 billion devolution deal.

Before founding Milton Advisers, Alex spent nearly a decade in elected local office, serving on Milton Keynes City Council, including four years as Leader of the Conservative Group.

Alex Walker said:

“This recognition is incredibly humbling. I’ve been lucky to work with some brilliant people in Parliament, in Government, in local authorities, and with political leaders across the world. The Conservative Party has given me so many opportunities to serve and to learn. I’m proud of the work we’ve done, and even more motivated to keep helping others make an impact.”

Milton Advisers is a strategic consultancy working at the intersection of politics, policy and communications, supporting clients across the UK and internationally.
